It’s getting to be too much…

Today I woke up as carefree as I can be, and as usual I opened my daily fix of news and what was my shock when I saw the people who perished on the Malaysian Airline flight MH17! I mean if there was ever any senseless killing this goes right at the top! Am not writing this from the political point of view, am not interested in that not even one bit, am more worried, sad, shocked and plain outraged at the massive loss of life! I mean how someone can be so callous as to shoot a plane down just because it might be from the enemy or because “they are flying in our sky?” I really pray that the Lord has mercy on the people who did this because my mind cannot even begin to grasp the concept of forgiving hem and am not even from there. Am praying for the families who are left behind with no answers, no comfort, no more hellos to say, and oh my gosh can you imagine how scared those 100 children were? I just cannot digest this! Lord, today I pray for the families of those who perished on the plane crash, I pray for comfort for them, for peace and for them to be able to forgive. Walk with them, protect their hearts, minds and sanity because this sure is not easy but nothing is impossible with You so I ask that you will carry them through these difficult times. All this I ask in the name of you Son Jesus Amen

This mommy life…

I love my job. I really do, but living in a city like Luanda where traffic is so bad you have to leave your house at 5 in the morning so you can avoid it, it’s just getting to be too much. My heart breaks a little every time I have to leave my munchkin. I praise the Lord that he’s asleep when I leave so there’s no crying otherwise I don’t know if I could take it!! Anyways now that am done with my pity party... Today am so tired I don’t even know what to write about, but since I want to be more consistent with the blog, ill be writing even if it’s a sentence a day.. Oh, now that am a mommy be ready to hear a lot about my munchkin and all the amazing feats he accomplishes every day! That boy does not cease to amaze me! Return of the Momma!!

Wow wow!!! It has been a while!!! How have you all been??? Am so so so great! Since my last post, I’ve enjoyed my pregnancy (it was relatively easy…) gave birth via c section (not my option but that’s another post) and have a healthy already one year bouncy baby boy!!! Well he’s a toddler now so… hahahaha. Life has been real and a rollercoaster, wow motherhood ain’t easy! But my boy makes it sooooooooo worth it! Anyways will try being more available. Hope you are all well! Mwah mamma of a boy!

Today I found out about you...

Hi there little one.
How are you? am so still in shock! I just found out about you and am all kinds of emotional... But most of all am so thankful for the gift God has given us: you. Am not sure where to start thinking because it's still a bit unreal and amazing at the same time.
I mean I still think of myself as a little girl and to think that I have you inside of me is just too much for my little brain to understand.
I can't stop thinking about you ( and I just found out about you 3 hours ago) thinking what u doing, what you like, are you gonna look like your dad or me?
What are going to call you? Are you a boy or a girl? Are you ok in there? Are you warm? Too many things!!!hahaha
But of all the things that are going through my mind know this: you are already so so so loved and so expected, am already thinking how am I going to decorate your room and your grandmommies are so over the moon about you!!! I love pink and if you are a girl I hope you love pink too (it's ok if you don't) but to celebrate you I painted my nails pink. Looks red but it's pink.
I can't wait to meet you already.
So your auntie Marlene and your aunties Chipo and Ntshenge(youll meet them when u arrive) kept making fun of me yesterday telling me that u was pregnant, I denied with all I have and just had fun imagining you and what presents they were gonna give you. Today out of a dare your aunt Marlene and I decided to buy a pregnancy test and take it but unfortunately I didn't have to pee so we left the test fe tomorrow. But when I got home I decided to buy one just for fun for me and your dad, what was my surprise when I saw those double lines!!!!! I smiled, I cried (of joy and happiness) I jumped, I sat in your dads lap and cried of joy some more! Your dad was smiling like the car who got the cream and his eyes were shining white pride ( I could see it). Little baby know that you are loved and cherished.

Hello everyone!

Wow not sure where to start as ive been off for a long time (almost forgot my password LOL)

Anyways… I GOT married!!!! And yesterday was our 2 month Anniversary!!!
